Carnival 2011 will once again be held in Tudor Grange Park on June 11th 2011, and we are hopeful that BRMB will once again host the event from their Roadshow stage.

Carnival Charities

This year Carnival will be supporting two Charities, a well known National one - Marie Curie, and a local one that may not be as well known.

Carnival's got Talent
Have you got what it takes?Carnival 2011 should see us once again calling on talent from the local area. The finalists will get to perform on Carnival day itself on the BRMB stage. We should be showcasing 3 acts from the Junior category and 3 from the 18+ group. Go to the Carnival's got Talent page to see video clips of all the acts who performed at the 2009 heats, and a list of the finalists.
Stalls at Carnival
We will again be providing space for any organisation that wishes to have a stall on the ground, but please be aware that you need to book your space in advance. The booking forms can be found by clicking here.
Carnival Procession
We have not yet confirmed whether we will be able to run a Procession this year, but you can see the route the procession may be following by clicking here
 
 
 
Entertainment
Free Programmes at the gates will list the running order of entertainment. We again expect to host a full programme of entertainment, and with the theme this year we will be seeing some more local talent on display!!

Wilson's Funfair

Possible running times, all subject to change before the event:

 

Thursday 9th June - 6:00pm to 10:00pm - a wristband purchased for just £5 will cover all the rides for the whole evening

 

Friday 10th June - 6:00pm  to 10:30pm - look out for discount vouchers in the Carnival flyer! To be found in local shops and around the borough where a Carnival poster is displayed

 

Saturday 11th June - 1:00pm to 11:00pm - opens at the same time as Carnival activities commence then continues through until about 11:00pm
