RECENT ACTIVITIES!
Our recent activities saw a group enjoy a trip to Alicante in Spain, the traditional New Year Walk, and our Christmas Party at Shirley Golf Club. There was also a trip to the Broadway Casino where all attending managed to keep their shirts. There was also a significant contingent that went on the Iceland 41 Club Cruise and it seems they had a wonderful time! Many photos can be seen in the gallery pages.Send in your pictures and videos!
Now we are “up and running” again with a full programme of events for 2022/2023 - I’m sure Gerard has it in hand! - we need pictures and videos to supplement the site!

LADIES NIGHT!
A grand total of about 60 (?!) people attended this year’s Ladies Night at Olton Golf Club! A great night hosted by Gerard. A short speech by Bruce … followed by an individual tribute to each person in the room by Kim! Wondeful! Then on to dancing the night away! Click HERE to see some pictures and videos taken by Alan
Camping Weekend -
Much Wenlock - 8th
to 10th July 2022
A group of 7 couples headed off to Much Wenlock for our annual camping event. A stroll into town, a good pub lunch, followed by a stagger back to site preceded the evening barbeque. We were joined by SLK and Tangent Chairmen Gerard and Helen, who brought “Chairman’s Nibbles”, before we got properly stuck into cooking on the bbq.See what we did and where we went!

7th April 2022 - AGM
Our AGM was held at Olton Golf Club and Bruce finally (!after 20 months!) was able to hand over the Chairmanship to Gerard! Interestingly, due to recent rule changes at the National AGM our long standing Honorary Members Gerard and David were made full members!2021 Events
18th July 2021 - NOT the
Birdlip Run
A grand total of 14 cars took part in this event. We started with breakfast at The Cowshed, coffee stop at The Cotswold Distillery, lunch at The Sun Inn in Hook Norton (after a visit to the brewery), a stop at Chesterton Windmill, and a Cream Tea back at The Cowshed! Enjoyed by all it seems!

Camping Weekend Much
Wenlock
The 6 couples who descended on Much Wenlock for a bit of “Carry on Camping” were joined by both Chairs Bruce and Kim (with partners) for Saturday lunch at the pub!

Speaker Meeting - 7th

A fun early evening was spent knocking balls around the Four Ashes Crazy Golf Course, followed, by a stroll to Hogarths where there was food and a Speaker.Edgbaston Cricket
SLK visited Edgbaston to see the Birmingham Phoenix vs Northern Stars. Great match. Birmingham womens won but the mens team lost . Beers were glugged, burgers chomped and lots of rubbish was spoken.Welcome Hills Vineyard

SLK played SRT in the Commonwealth Games Night at Camp Hill rugby Club in August 2022. Great fun night … oh … and Table won.
National Classic Car
Rally at Market
Harborough
Three couples from SLK joined the National Classic Car Rally at Market Harborough 29-31 July 2022 . Some excellent cars joined from other clubs including Bristol, Alvis, Alfa, MG, 1914 RR along with our own Aston Martin DBS , Merc SL and Rover 75 Great fellowship weekend for petrol heads.
Iceland Cruise
The 2022 41Club Cruise to Iceland and Faroes was well attended with 45 people attending from all over GB&I with the biggest contingent being Shirley Late Knights with a team of 12. For the full report and ALL the photos click the photo or CLICK HERE

Several members went to ‘try their luck’ at the Braodway Casino in Birmingham.
Christmas Party -
December 17th
We held our annual Christmas Party shindig at Shirley Golf Club, and a good time was had by all! Lots of singing of 12 Days of Christmas amongst other happenings!
New Year Walk 2023
The annual New Year Walk was attended by several couples, who braved the weather.

The annual International Trip saw several of our intrepid members head off to the sun from 17th to 20th March 2023.
